PHOTLINE Technologies is a privately owned company created in September 2000. PHOTLINE, specialized in optoelectronic components, is a leader in the field of ultra fast optical modulators.
Thanks to an intellectual property issued from the FEMTO-ST Laboratory (CNRS) from the University of Franche-Comté - FRANCE, PHOTLINE brings its expertise in technology and optics to offer innovating solutions for optical modulation in high performances fiber systems (>40GHz) The three founders of PHOTLINE were in charge of the optoelectronic group in this laboratory and brought more than 15 years of experience in the field of lithium niobate integrated optics and optical communications.
Mastering a complete in-house manufacturing processes, PHOTLINE develops original and innovative solutions and anticipates the future market trends. Thanks to its organization and quality system, PHOTLINE is able to continuously deliver more advanced competitive solutions to its customers. PHOTLINE has already been selected as a supplier by major companies. Based on a performing distribution network, PHOTLINE products are available all around the world. PHOTLINE is regularly present at the largest exhibitions and conferences (OFC, ECOC, Photonics West and more).
The young and reactive team (20), with high technical skills, brings complementary competencies in optics, microwaves, packaging, and microelectronic technology. This allows to bring dedicated answer to customers specific requests.
PHOTLINE develops and produces optical modulators based on lithium niobate technology. Phase, intensity or QPSK modulators are produced for applications at wavelength ranging from 850nm to 1550nm. The involved know-how allows PHOTLINE to answer to the new requirements and customized solutions of optical modulators of the emerging markets : Defense & Space, Sensors & Instrumentation, Telecommunications, Research & Science and Industrial lasers.
